About the event
In a visit to the Alhambra palace in Southern Spain, the Portuguese King Manuel I was mesmerized by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles that lined the palace. The awestruck king immediately ordered that his own palace be decorated with similar wall tiles. As a tile-laying artist, you have been challenged to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora. Thus begins the game of Azul, taking it's name from the same tiles ( azulejos) that so impressed the Portuguese King Manuel I so long ago.
Azul is a tile-placing game for 2-4 players ages 8 and up. Average playtime is 30-45 minutes. This is a no cost, learn-to-play event, so no purchase is needed to play. Play starts at 7pm. Reserve your seat at the table today!
